Twig&Bot's Elegant Robot-Arm-Carved Guitar Holder
This elegant wall-mounted guitar holder is by Twig&Bot.
That's the one man shop of Australian design engineer and roboticist Leigh Aitken, who didn't carve these by hand; that's the work of his CNC robot arm. The groove that you see in the images below would be virtually impossible to consistently produce by hand.
The groove is for a protective silicone insert.
Aitken's not messing around with the mounting system; while the 'bot could've undoubtedly carved a keyhole slot, Aitken instead opted for a steel plate.
These are in batch production now, and will shortly be for sale. At press time prices hadn't been announced.
