Trained as an industrial designer, Rebecca Goesling is the Director of Design for the Goesling Group. The Illinois-based firm is known for doing interior design, trend forecasting and CMF, the latter of which is Rebecca's specialty. She recently applied these chops to this Happy Hour Collection of designey drinkware.

These are in production by RTIC Outdoors, a Texas-based manufacturer of outdoor goods vying to take Yeti on. The tumblers are made of 304 stainless steel, double-wall and vacuum-insulated and with a grippable matte finish (powder-coated we assume, though the company doesn't say).

They're capped with snap-fit leak-resistant lids.
As a design differentiator, the interiors are lined with a ceramic coating, as opposed to the raw stainless steel of competing offerings.

This opens the product up to oenophiles, as the ceramic layer doesn't impart that tinny taste into your vino; it also makes the product easier to clean, letting you avoid the coffee-stained interior common with stainless steel.
Furthermore, the vessels feature a "built-in coaster," a rubberized material at the base that won't mar surfaces. And the pieces are, of course, dishwasher-safe.

Size-wise, the line includes a $20 8-oz lowball, a $23 12-oz wine tumbler and a $25 18-oz pint tumbler.

I think these will be excellent teacups (I love having double-walled cups for keeping my tea hot, but the metal does affect the taste). My instinct looking at them is that the wide base is actually an anti-feature, intended to keep you from sticking a cup of booze in a car's cupholder....
