The Nanit system was created to close an important gap for new parents: while cameras could show the crib and apps could track sleep, families still lacked a seamless way to understand what was happening in real time and use those insights to support better sleep. PENSA designed Nanit as an elegant, nursery-friendly product experience that brings together aerial monitoring, sleep analysis, personalized guidance, and immediate alerts in one reassuring system.

Our design process focused on creating a calm, intuitive presence in the nursery while supporting the complexity of the technology behind it. The camera’s smooth, floating form provides a clear bird’s-eye view without feeling intrusive, and the integrated soft light helps caregivers tend to their baby without disrupting a sleep-friendly environment.

We also designed the full system to adapt as family needs change, with multiple mounting options for home and travel, simple setup, and high safety standards. Through iterative testing with parents, every detail was refined to make Nanit feel easy to use, dependable, and genuinely supportive from day one.
