In that market, the 250cc variant is a premium model. The target market is middle-class riders stepping up from cheaper 160cc commuter scooters.
Motorcycle designer Radite Octavanka freelances in Indonesia. His firm, Raxe97, creates custom designs for local fab shops. Octavanka used the XMAX 250 as the underpinning for this wild-looking forkless design:
