This is Yamaha's XMAX scooter, made in Indonesia.

In that market, the 250cc variant is a premium model. The target market is middle-class riders stepping up from cheaper 160cc commuter scooters.

Motorcycle designer Radite Octavanka freelances in Indonesia. His firm, Raxe97, creates custom designs for local fab shops. Octavanka used the XMAX 250 as the underpinning for this wild-looking forkless design:

Looks fanciful—but local fabricator MWM Custom actually built the thing:

This appears to be a prestige project, so what you see above is likely a one of one.

Forkless motorcycles have been around for a long time, this one just has more wings than an F1 car....
