Over the years, we've seen all manner of ways to transport a bike on a motor vehicle.

What we've never seen is a car-mounted bike carrier meant to haul cargo bikes. However, they do exist, here are some spotted out in the wild:

The issue, as you can see, is that the extra length of a cargo bike protrudes beyond the sides of the car. Whether that's okay or not depends on what region you're in. (In Italy, for instance, it's fine; in Portugal it's banned.)
To get 'round the problem, a London-based company called BikeCarGo has developed this Explorer roof rack for cargo bikes.

It's a nifty idea, but getting it up there is a bit clunky. You first have to install, while the bike is on the ground, a "loading cradle" beneath the bike. Then you and a buddy have to hoist the thing up onto the roof:
Meanwhile this guy jury-rigged his own solution using an aluminum ladder. Again, the bike must be secured to the cradle, or in this case the ladder, while on the ground.
While the hoisting part can be done by one person, the video doesn't show how he got the ladder up off of the ground and leaned against the rack.
I don't know how much market demand there is for cargo bike roof racks, but from a UX perspective, it's certainly a design problem that needs solving.
